Boilers
With legislation changes in April 2005, the specifications for domestic household installation boilers also changed. In the UK, under Building Regulation, Part L, you are now required to have a Sedbuk boiler rating of 86% minimum.
These boilers will be of a condensating design; fan assisted with electronic ignition. All these features will save "you the customer” money in fuel costs over a period of time. You will also be doing your bit for the environment as these boilers are energy efficient, with fewer emissions released into the atmosphere, protecting the O Zone.
Controls
We believe that the equipment that controls the boiler must suit the customer.
Paul Griffiths Plumbing Services offer easy-to-set time clocks that are built in to the boiler, as well as offering programmable thermostats that can be used to specify different time settings for work days and weekends. These are usually fitted without wires or disruption to decorations and floors.
Radiators
All radiators are fitted with side and top grilles for sleek and efficient output and looks. The type of radiator valves fitted are normally thermostatic control valves, which save energy by shutting down when the sensor is satisfied.
These valves help you to easily control each radiator in your property, and should be fitted under current Building Regulations.
